After the thrill of watching another Frankel demolition job, today is all about the giant that is So You Think.
He faces the Queen’s Carlton House in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes. But the dark horse here is Godolphin’s Farhh, who is lightly raced but unbeaten.
Last year Frankie Dettori mugged So You Think with a wonderful ride on Rewilding and connections of Farhh should have a good idea of where they stand.
Elsewhere, day two is another needles in a haystack job as big fields dominate once again. Here are some punting pointers:
Jersey Stakes: This is wide open but Sentaril has been so impressive in her two runs and comes from an in-form yard.
Windsor Forest Stakes: Connections of Frankel can double up with the admirably consistent Chachmaidee, who looked like she had improved when flying home at Lingfield last month.
Royal Hunt Cup: A lottery but Common Touch looks fairly treated, is well drawn and and is said to have been working well.
Queen Mary Stakes: Tom Dascombe is bullish about the chances of Upward Spiral, plus Kevin Ryan’s Star Up In The Sky may run well at a silly price.
Sandringham Handicap: Lady’s First is fancied by the Fahey team despite being 5lb out of the handicap, while Fillionaire is better than her recent form suggests.
