Lucky 15: April 21

YESTERDAY was a poor effort although Seamster was a non runner. Castleacre ran too freely, Salateen was disappointing and Sword Exceed got going too late. The latter is one to keep in the notebook though. Try again…
RAINBOW DREAMER (2.30 Newbury): Got going far too late at Leicester behind Galapiat over 1m 4f but finished with a flourish over an inadequate trip. A decent enough juvenile hurdler (unplaced in the Fred Winter), he promises to be a fun horse on the flat too for his owners and today’s 2m 2f will be more up his street. Ryan Moore in the saddle is a huge bonus. Stablemate Oceane could also run very well. Best price 5/2
SIR ANTHONY BROWNE (2.10 Ayr): Looks overpriced and although he looks to have an impossible task at the weights against Burbank, who will be a warm order on his Cheltenham form, this fella is useful and could be the one to take advantage if the Henderson hotpot bombs out. 12/1
HEAR THE CHIMES (6.45 Southwell): Has dropped to his lowest mark ever and is a tricky ride but he may have conditions just right.  His 10lb claimer knows him well and the decent ground will suit. If he settles, expect him to be delivered late. 8/1
DRUMLEE SUNSET (3.50 Ayr): A useful hurdler who has taken quite well to fences. He bypassed the major festivals and will arrive here fresh on his favoured ground. 8/1
Prices correct at the time of going to press.
