FROM the weighing room to the winners’ enclosure, Betway ambassador Katie Walsh reveals what really goes on behind the scenes during Festival week in a great new video.

The former jockey takes broadcaster Nick Luck on a guided tour of the racecourse at Cheltenham and offers a peek at what it’s really like to ride a winner at the Festival.

Katie rode three winners at Cheltenham Festival. She won two in 2010 and one in 2018 on Relegate in the Champion Bumper.

In the video, Katie goes behind the scenes at the track and shows fans what a day in the life of a jockey at Cheltenham is like, showing them places they normally wouldn’t get to see.

Commenting on the crowd, Katie says: “Some horses take it and some horses really rise to the occasion because there’s a lot going on here and there’s a lot of people but a lot of people say the very best of luck and come back safe. And you’ll get a lot of that the whole way out.”
